Heidi and Emrys Plant - Typography and blogging

Heidi and Emrys Plant work together on interdisciplinary projects under the moniker BLOCK COLOUR. They have been Pin-balling their way through the creative landscape for the past 10 years as artists, designers, poets, lovers and thieves.

I discovered this website 'Block Colour', and decided to browse through the posts and blogs which were about painting and typography. This piece of art (below) was created accidentally when the couple were scraping letters off a wall, and where they were still sticky when they fell, they stuck together and created interesting typography. 

This made me think of the typography I could create, so using a letter stamp and ink, I decided to stamp words randomly on a page, but creating the word 'LISS', as this is my hometown. 

When I saw this piece of art, I found it interesting and quite amusing as this was a complete accident.
