This image uses symmetry and bold colours to create a visually pleasing image. This image also has quite a lot of vibrance and energy coming off it, due to the blocks of colour and simple design. The uise of block colour works really well, and this style could be used for my final piece for 'MY HOMETOWN' project.
This piece in particular inspired me because I like they way he has repeated shapes and colours, but using different imagery.
I have decided that for my final piece I will create a piece of art design whereby I repeat an image but use different colours, so I shall combine the ideas of Andy Warhol and Peter Blake, to create my own piece of block colour art, or pop art.
