Sara Fanelli - Illustrator

Sara Fanelli was born in Florence, and came to London to study art. She has been working there as a freelance designer and illustrator since her graduation from the Royal College of Art in 1995.
The truth is rarely pure and never simple

She has worked for many clients, such as Penguin Books, Faber and Faber, Tate Modern, BBC Worldwide, The New York Times and Royal Mail.

The reason why I chose Sara Fanelli is because of her abstract artwork. With the use of bright colours, basic fonts and photomontage designs, she creates interesting and illustrative pieces of graphics design. I especially find 'The Snobs' book cover interesting because of the way she has used ink and an eye from an old photograph.
